The completely rugged Intermec CN4e mobile computer boasts a large keyboard and an integrated 3.5G WWAN key-based, data-intensive delivery application, enabling businesses to take full advantage of high bandwidth data collection and communication, realizing the benefits of worker productivity gains in the service product field.
The CN4e not only meets the IP64 sealing standard and 1.8-meter (6-foot) drop specification is the most rugged device in its class, but also has field-proven, built-in software-compatible peripherals designed to support a broad range of services across a wide range of applications in transportation, field service and direct storage delivery environments.
In addition to 3.5G UMTS / HSPA and CDMA / EVDO REV A technologies, as well as a complete set of accessories and application development tools, the CN4e also comes with a combination of powerful radio communication technologies, including integrated GPS, Cisco CCX compatible WiFi and Bluetooth™Enables businesses to deploy and dynamically manage resources to the right locations and deliver the intelligence their mobile workers need to improve customer responsiveness and reduce inventory and shipping costs.
CN4e features a unique, optional imaging application called Intermec Enhanced Mobile Document Imaging (EMDI) for mobile workers to quickly and reliably convert paper documents into electronic form.EMDI simplifies back-office operations and improves cash flow by shortening the time to payment for the services provided, as delivery confirmations can be filmed on site and transmitted wirelessly to the home office.Customer service and other staff gain real-time access to document images through enterprise systems, which can be used to answer customer queries, issue invoices, and update records.
The optional color CN4e camera can also be used as an event verification tool, enabling workers to record proof of service or vehicle detection.The CN4e features a touch-screen display and is supplied with an ultra-thin expandable battery that provides easy-to-carry, all-day power.
