Wearable Scanner

The 8680i wearable scanner is designed to speed up frequent scanning tasks, freeing up both hands to do the work needed.

The 8680i wearable scanner can withstand 2,000 rolls within 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) and harsh working conditions.

Honeywell Operations Intelligent workflow analysis manages the battery pack lifecycle to ensure uninterrupted full-shift operation; setup and firmware updates are simple to deploy.

The Premium Edition provides a customizable line-of-sight screen, Wi-Fi, and SDK for application development, enabling the 8680i to support workflow streamlining as a stand-alone device, replacing the scanner mobile computer portfolio.

The field-configurable accessories of the equipment module support ring or glove form factor: large-capacity or ultra-thin battery can be adjusted according to the work cycle. Size/weight: standard or advanced version, suitable for workflow needs.

The standard device is a lightweight, ergonomically designed, Bluetooth-enabled wearable scanner that can communicate wirelessly and transmit data such as battery status and scan results when paired with other devices.

Each time the operator picks up, scans, and puts down the hand-held scanner, it takes five seconds. For workflows that require high-frequency scanning, such as picking, sorting, shelting, and packaging, these useless tasks will double and take up a lot of work time. Wearable scanning ensures that data capture is readily available, improving productivity and efficiency, allowing operators to free up for other tasks.
