1) First, please make sure that the scanning gun, data cable, data receiving host and power supply have been properly connected before starting up.

2) Press and hold the trigger button, the lighting lamp is activated, and red lighting area and red focus line appear.

3) Align the red focus line with the center of the barcode, move the scanning gun and adjust the distance between it and the barcode to find the best reading distance.

4) When the success tone is heard and the red lighting line is turned off, the code reading is successful, and the scanning gun transmits the decoded data to the host.

Installation of scanning gunMethod

1) Insert the data line: Connect the crystal head of the data line to the bottom interface of the scanning gun. Note: If it can be pulled out directly after being inserted, it means that it is not plugged in well, because it cannot be pulled out directly after being plugged in.

2) Connect to the computer: The scanning gun generally has 3 interfaces to choose from, and the USB interface is commonly used. When connecting the computer, insert the data cable socket of the scanning gun into the corresponding interface of the computer, and wait for the computer to automatically install the driver before it can be used.

3) The thread taking method: Insert a small pin into the thread taking hole, squeeze it slightly and then pull out the data line.

Scanning gun use note:

1) It is not allowed to scan the scanning gun and the bar code at 90 °, and the bar code cannot be read normally at 90 °. The scan lines must be aligned and all over the barcode.

2) Do not scan the bar code on the manual casually, otherwise it may cause the scanning gun to fail to scan.

3) In the process of reading, for the same batch of bar codes, you will find that the distance between the scanning gun and the bar code is within a certain range, and the success rate of code reading will be very high. This distance is the best reading distance.

scanning gun common fault handling:

If the scanner does not work normally, please check the following first:

1) Check whether the data cable is properly connected to the host, including whether the data cable is firmly connected and whether the original data cable is used.

2) Check whether the quality of the barcode label is good, and the scanning gun may not be able to read the wrinkled or defaced barcode label.

3) Check whether the barcode type read by the scanning gun is turned on. If it is not turned on, please turn on the barcode type read first.
