3. Choose according to durability: resin-based carbon tape is scratch-resistant and has good durability, followed by hybrid carbon tape, and wax-based carbon tape has the shortest shelf life.

4. According to the budget selection, the wax-based carbon belt has the lowest cost, the mixed carbon belt has the second highest cost, and the resin-based carbon belt has the highest cost. Different manufacturers produce different carbon ribbons of the same material.

2. Classified according to the print head of the label printer: the carbon tape is divided into flat pressure carbon tape and edge pressure carbon tape, which are suitable for flat pressure label printer and edge pressure label printer respectively. The two ribbons cannot be mixed.

3. Classification according to chemical composition (material): Carbon tape can be divided into three types according to chemical composition (material): wax-based, mixed-based and resin-based. Generally speaking, the paraffin-based carbon belt refers to a carbon belt with a paraffin content of 70%, the mixed-based carbon belt refers to a carbon belt with a paraffin content of 50% and a resin content of 50%, and the resin-based carbon belt refers to a carbon belt with a paraffin content of less than 50%.
