Zebra ZC100/300 Series Card Printer Won 2019 Product Design Red Dot Award

Zebra technology ZC100/300 series card printer, with user-centered design won this award.

On July 8, 2019, Zebra Technology Corporation announced that its ZC100 and ZC300 series card printers won the 2019 Product Design Award in the Red Dot Awards. This is the fifth consecutive year that Zebra Technology has won this international honor.

Zebra's design team has the customer at the heart of everything they do, which is an important factor in the continued recognition of Zebra's product portfolio. The design of the ZC100 and ZC300 series card printers was an extensive collaboration that brought together multiple insights from designers, engineers, sales teams and customers.

Curt Croley, senior director of innovation and design at Zebra, said: "We are very pleased that the ZC100 and ZC300 series card printers have won the red dot award. This design makes full use of Zebra's excellent card printing technology, and after careful consideration and consideration, combined with a user-centered design method. The ZC100 and ZC300 series card printers securely print ID badges, payment cards and membership cards for retail, financial and hospitality services. It is designed to meet the critical needs of end users through a simple user interface, a transmission medium that can be automatically calibrated, and an intuitive way to load and remove cards. This series of printers has a unique industrial design, which is thinner and has smaller gaps than similar products, so it can be installed in space-constrained environments, including under the counter or on the shelf.

　　

 

About the Red Dot Award

Since its inception in 1955, the Red Dot Award has become one of the most recognized design awards. The Red Dot Award is the largest design competition in the world. This year, the jury received more than 5,500 entries from 55 countries. The winning products will be on special display at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany, from July 9 to August 11, 2019.
