1. first need to analyze whether the quality of the bar code printed by the bar code reaches the grade. Of course, you cannot buy a professional bar code detector for detection. Ordinary users can identify the quality of bar code printing with naked eyes. As we all know, bar codes are composed of black bars and white bars according to corresponding standards, so you can check whether the printed black bars are clear. If there are some white dots on the black bars, you can judge that the quality of the bar code is not very good, however, the scanning gun with better performance can still be read. If the black bar is not fully typed, it means that the bar code is completely unreadable. It is recommended to test the equipment that prints the bar code.

2. check whether the printed barcode is complete and whether the printed barcode exceeds the boundary of the label. According to the principle of barcode scanning, the barcode must be complete from left to right. Each black bar and white bar has its representative meaning. Incomplete bar codes cannot be scanned even with high-end scanning guns.

3. check what code system the printed bar code is, that is, the type of bar code. Generally, the common code systems on the market are code 128,code39,code93,EAN-13, etc. If the code system you print is not within this range, you must turn on the scanning function of other code systems of the bar code scanning gun. Special note: many customers will use CODE93 code to print, some scanning gun is not open CODE93, so it must be set.

4. check whether the bar code scanning gun is in good condition, the method is very simple: we usually have bar codes of some commodities around us. if beverage bottles, books and food packaging are printed, the quality is very good. if the bar code scanning gun cannot scan these bar codes, the bar code scanning gun is faulty.

5. check whether the content of the bar code printing is very tight. Due to the limitation of the width of the bar code label, some bar code content is too long and must be reduced in proportion to complete printing. Bar code scanning guns are divided into ordinary scanning guns and high-precision bar code scanning guns. If the scanning gun is not high precision, it can hardly scan the bar code with high density. This is the problem that the printed contents of the selected scanning gun and bar code do not match. The method of detecting the mismatch is very simple, and the barcode label with short data content can be printed for testing.
