The first case: no light scanning gun

Possible causes:

1) The wire of the scanning gun is not connected properly;

2) The line of the scanning gun is not connected to the computer;

5) The line of the scanning gun is broken;

The second case: wired bar code scanning gun has light but cannot scan

Possible causes:

1) The scanning gun of PS/2 is connected to the mouse port;

11) There is a problem with the transfer of the interface, the interface may be broken, or the line of the scanning gun may be broken;

12) If the settings of the wired scanning gun are messed up, open the manual of the scanning gun and scan the factory setting bar code, usually "restore factory settings", "SETALL DEFAULT", "initialize settings", "restore default values", etc;

13) The serial port number and baud rate of the serial port gun are not set properly;

14) When scanning the barcode, the distance is too far or too close, and the angle is too large;

15) Can't scan very fine bar codes. Generally, the scanning accuracy of wired scanning guns is above 5MIL. If your bar code is less than 5MIL, please buy 3MIL wired scanning guns.
