1) What surface to hit on

In general, the surface of coated paper is relatively rough, should be used with wax-based or mixed-based carbon belt; and PET paper surface is relatively smooth, should be used with resin-based carbon belt.

2) What printer to use

In the thermal transfer printing mode, the carbon tape and the label paper are consumed simultaneously in the length direction. In terms of the width direction, the width of the carbon tape should be greater than or equal to the width of the label paper,

Less than the maximum print width of the printer. Due to the different physical dimensions of each printer, the maximum paper roll length that can be loaded and the maximum width that can be printed are also different. If you want to print out the label content has good durability, you should choose resin-based carbon tape.

4) At what speed to print

In the case of high-speed printing should choose the high sensitivity of the ribbon.

5) Affordable Costs

Generally speaking, the cost of wax-based carbon belt is the lowest, the cost of hybrid-based carbon belt is the second, and the cost of resin-based carbon belt is the highest.

6) Scratch resistance, scratch resistance, smear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and other requirements of the label

If the label is scratch-resistant, smear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and high-temperature resistant pairs may often be rubbed, the label needs to have strong scratch resistance. At this time, resin carbon tape or mixed-based carbon tape should also be selected.
